About Us

We are a non-profit organization registered in United Kingdom with a strong heartbeat for the educational development of children in Africa. We are confident to say that 100% of your donations go directly to the cause for which they were intended. Our vision is driven by people who are passionate helping needy young Africans to achieve their maximum potential through education.

We fund long-term scholarships for locally selected less privileged children who, without our support, would be unable to attend full-time education and we build/upgrade rural community elementary schools using local labour and materials.

Our Mission

• To facilitate qualitative education for African children and provide them the knowledge and skills to improve their own chances in life and, ultimately, the lives of their own children.
• To support ‘The Millennium Development Goal’ that  all children would be in school by 2015

Our Aims

Edu4Africa Initiative was officially registered as a Charity in United Kingdom in 2010 with the aim of helping local communities in Africa to get the necessary education they need without having to work a long distance to get it and providing this education to the less privileged children.

This is achieved by enhancing the role of civil society in safeguarding education in Africa, strengthening African educational policy and capital project development.

We recognise that a strong Internet presence is an opportunity to extend our reach in a manner consistent with our mission. Initially, our direct marketing efforts will be locally focused, but we will rely upon a dynamic and informative website to support our efforts, while broadcasting our message to a much larger audience. The goal of our site is to create interest, inform and create awareness, facilitate requests for donors and generate additional revenue. We will direct donors to our site through consistent references in all of our materials and the strategic placement of links to our site from other related websites.         

Building and maintaining a solid database of potential donors will be critical to the success of our outreach programmes.We are developing a prospect database of persons who may be interested in making a financial contribution and/or giving their time as volunteers.
